Our tale…
In 2022 we rescued Ollie, a sweet high-energy pit bull mix who we soon found out, lives to chew! Stuffed toys didn’t stand a chance and so-called indestructible toys were no match. It was clear our boy needed a better outlet for his need to chew. We found mass-produced marrow bones in pet stores, but they were mostly imported from China or Brazil, contained artificial ingredients or preservatives, and were dry and brittle. Feeling like what we wanted simply wasn't available, we decided to buy some marrow bones from our local butcher and smoke them ourselves. Working to perfect our technique, with Ollie as the resident tester, Smoke + Bone was born. Now he has something to chew on that will last and keep him interested for not only minutes or hours, but days or weeks. We know your dog will love them too.
